29 Jul you still have time.
my blog posts usually coincide with a sale, but lately I’ve felt the draw to pour it all out into the stratosphere, regardless – so, here I am; xanga 2.0, I suppose.
and I just want to remind you, that you still have time.
I’ve spent the majority of my life simultaneously feeling like too much, and not enough. I’ve always had so many dreams – so many things, that I want to be. so many things, that I want to achieve. I’ve always wanted to be good at everything, to experience everything, to see the beauty of every single nook & cranny of this earth and her people.
and so here I am, at 37 – artist, mother, singer, teacher, writer, daughter, business owner, friend, plant lady, decorator, and soon to be nurse. like collecting badges on my Girl Scout sash, when I was 10; all the tiny colors & textures & pictures, displayed on those tiny circles, proof of the things I had tried & loved & learned & found success in.
I want to be everything. I want to touch every life. I want a story as big as the stars. we get this one life, and the truth of it is – the time will pass anyway. it always does. we’re all just walking each other home, over and over again, until the end of time.
you still have time. it’s not too late. you can be anything, do anything. don’t be afraid, to reach for it; don’t be afraid, to add another badge. every single thing you become, makes this world a brighter place. 💛
